Starting to scan old photos. It's a daunting task because we have so many! You do, too, probably. Photos from the 1990s when the kids were young. Pictures from vacations. Dance recitals. Just because.
Then college pics from the 80s. You know what I'm talking about. Memories you don't want to let go of. Or at least I don't. I'm pretty sentimental that way. Objects have meaning for me - and a physical photograph have almost as much meaning as the memory itself
So reluctantly I'm scanning some old photos. Have to. Can't take them with us to Puerto Rico. Won't get through them all, though. So I think we'll pack up our children's memory albums as is and drop them at relatives to store while we're on our ten year vacation. (grinning)
In the meantime, I'm having fun walking down memory lane. Here are a few from when I swam at Wheaton College in the mid-80s. Fun times!
