This is my second entry (first entry here) with #wewriwa and my genre is magical cozy mystery. My WIP excerpt is from book two of a series featuring Mack the Magical Cat, titled, Ma Tutt's Secret Spice. Each week I'll simply post the next 8 to 10 sentences, so obviously not all of these will be complete scenes. Still, should be fun. For all snippets, click #WIPSnippet.

Including the presence of Mack, a very intriguing feline in his own right.
The gray mackerel had come with the Hut when Dolly purchased the building six months before. Due to the pronounced M on the tabby’s forehead, Dolly christened him Mack. He was called Tozier, however, in a previous life when he belonged to the Coopers—as much as a cat can belong to anyone. And he, too, was quite advanced in years, having just celebrated his sixtieth birthday. But these tales have already been told.
Dolly, for the most part, simply accepted the mystery of it all.

Dolly Tutt has just opened her own bakery in the small mountain community of Sugar Pine Station. But the Creamy Pie franchise across the street is giving her fits. Her business is dying. She needs a miracle or she'll be forced to close.
Fortunately, Mack, a mysterious tabby that came with the doughnut shop, lends a paw by pointing Dolly to a magical ingredient that definitely puts the spice back in her life and rejuvenates the Donut Hut. Unfortunately, it also unleashes as series of catastrophes that may end up destroying her business once and for all.
