Early Birthday Present

Coming up on another birthday, and I'm celebrating early with the release of my first collaboration with Joe Konrath, author of the popular Lieutenant Jacqueline 'Jack' Daniels mystery-thrillers. Awhile back, Joe opened up his characters to a franchise concept. Writers like me could tap his characters, create a story, and submit it to him for approval. If it passed muster, he'd then edit/polish/publish the story.

And voila! We have Abductions, the first of what I hope will be a series of stories that feature my psychic detective AJ Rakowski and Konrath's Jack Daniels, a homicide detective in Chicago. Here's the blurb.

A sequel, of sorts (but without Daniels), that features Rakowski and my PI Ned Nbonivoy is called Drinking Games. (Also at Smashwords.) It's another serial killer thriller, if you're into that genre. Just in time for Christmas. And my birthday.
