Added 2300 words to my paranormal fantasy short. Probably 1500 to go. Thought I'd be done today, but that's how it goes. At one point I was writing fairly quickly, lots of dialog. I find that I use plenty of white space (few tags, minimal clues to setting, mood, etc) and then go back later and 'round it out.' What are some of your practices regarding dialog? I find that if it's leisurely conversations, I add more details, but if it's a fast-paced bit of repartee then I end up with more white space. Probably pretty normal practice, don't you think?
